MOSCOW, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Twelve people were injured after a series of explosions ripped through a naval arsenal in Russia's Far East region of Primorye on Sunday.

　　The incident occurred early Sunday morning at a naval arsenal belonging to the Russian Pacific Fleet in the to wn of Tayozhny, 50 kilometers north of the Pacific port of Vladivostok, Interfax reported, citing local emergencies officials.

　　Most of those who injured were residents of Vladivostok, spending the weekend at their dachas. All of them were taken to hospitals.

　　The incident was under investigation. It was the first such incident in the Pacific Fleet's arsenals. End
